. . . . . . Checkback on our recent exploits
Read about Charmouth to Barmouth - the 4th and final installment in the coast to coast trilogy!
Nash Bash June 2000 - A CRABs eye View
A rugby club just outside Reading
So what were the high points, I hear you ask?
- The hills!
- The company, particularly the CRABs
- The weather, it was actually perfect cycling weather
- The ride on Saturday was through some spectacular countryside
- The pubs
- Crabbo and Sue joining us after having completed their 6 day tour of the UK!
- James (Louise's friend) turning up on a motorbike
- The T-shirt - raspberry coloured
And the lows?
- Mud, mud and more bloody mud, I'm still cleaning mud out of places that I didn't think mud could get to......
- Gavin chucking up in his tent (he's not one of us!)
- Arriving and finding 16 communal showers, all gents. After all it was a rugby club!
- Arriving and seeing all the serious mountain bikes, but we showed them on our Cambridge shoppers, didn't we Lurcher?
- The disco and the snogging bashers (not from Cambridge). The disco did improve though
- The Saturday circle!
- No circle on the Sunday
- The hare broke his collar bone laying the trail on the Sunday
All in all it was a superb weekend and the CRABS are going to host the next Nash Bash in 2002.
