Powerpoint is an extremely powerful program for writing multimedia and switch controlled activities from simple cause and effect to complex hyperlinked presentations.
It accepts a variety of graphic formats and multimedia file formats.
It has transitional page effects and sounds
It allows branching from hypertext links
It has a layout and mapping feature
It allows changes in running (ie change from input controlled to slideshow)
It can save files as self running presentations.
It has mouse over facility, which can be used in developing mouse/pointer control and accuracy.
