 | 27th and 28th September
2000 - Transatlantic Sessions with 'The Peninsular Scottish Fiddlers'
The Small Hall Band
played two concerts, in Eccles and Maxton with 'The Peninsular Scottish
Fiddlers' from California. Both evenings were very successful - the
audiences being treated to an enthusiatically played Scottish and Irish set
from the Small Hall Band , and a more sedate set of Scottish, Cajun and
American tunes and songs from the visitors. Both bands combined their
talents at the close of each evening with rousing renditions of some well
known Scottish reels. Two very entertaining and quality musical evenings
indeed !!

musicians in the Band. The additional performances in the main Arena of the
Dome made it all the more worthwhile. The Border TV documentary conveyed
