Concerts

Family ceilidhs are our speciality. Starting at around 7 or 7.30 pm The Small Hall Ceilidh Band will provide you with a set of five or six well known ceilidh dances. We have a caller, so you don't need to know what to do.

After a short break of 10 - 15 minutes, or longer if you have refreshments to organise or a raffle to run, the adults of the Small Hall Band will continue providing the music for the second half, and the young people from the band will join the dancers. A finishing time no later than 10 pm is recommended.

Charges are by negotiation, but often are calculated on the basis of a percentage of the door takings with no charge for parent members of the band.

Our young musicians are able to provide up to two hours of music for listening. All the band play together on about half the items and smaller groups of band members will perform their own selections.
