Newsgroup searching for !Voyager

NewsSrch ß is a Vix utility that allows !NewsAgent's news database to be searched for a keyword.

The keyword can be searched for in either the header, the text, or both.

This is a beta version which appears to be stable. There will be several enhancements over the next few weeks, some of which will flow into !NewsStrip and !MailStrip.

Please feel free to mail me with enhancement ideas, etc.

Note! This version has been reported to crash (safely) when accessing long mail downloads but I can't repeat it. Any extra input on this would be welcome.

Newsgroup filtering for !Voyager

NewsStrip V3.00f is a utility for !NewsAgent to:

• Stop cross-posted news items.
• Kill news items from designated email-addresses.
• Kill news items with selected words in the title.
• Stop weird cross-debatching and a lot of "... has detected a discrepancy" errors.

This version is compatible with !Voyager 2.03 and will run on RiscOS 3.11 without locking up.
