The Wheelchair track
The wheelchair track is a modified electric wheelchair that follows a track laid on the ground. Pupils can thus experience moving by themselves without having to control directions. Pupils who can only operate a single switch input can control the stopping and starting of the chair which automatically follows the prelaid path.
Pupils can learn and experience moving by themselves, switch control,and directions.
At present we have three tracks in school and we are planning an outside track on the learning curves.
