Mini World magazine covers launch of Corgi model.

Biggest London to Brighton Mini run ever hits television news and teletext. 1999 cars entered with an estimated 2500 extra following the route down enforcing the runs status as the largest single make annual car run in the world.

A photograph of the Corgi model to be released later this year has been published in Autocar 12 May issue (page 11)

Qualified 8th out of 33 at Brands Hatch

The Italian Job film is to be released at your local cinema from May 21st (or later!)

Qualified 6th at Castle Combe from a grid of 30 cars

Navigated Alison Lock to first in class on Somerset Stages, amazing all of the marshalls as the '67 Cooper defied all the rough terrain to finish the event

Finished 4th in a class of 12 in the Old Oak Snetterton Stages organised by the Green Belt Motor Club. Paul Clark navigated whilst Simon Maxted looked after the mechanics of my Mighty Mini. We were the only Mini, the Ford KA finished 8th in class :-)

Won best novice in the Mighty Mini Championship 1998

Corgi are to make 5000 models of my Mighty Mini racer, to be released 2nd half of 1999 (see press for details)
