Mighty Minis 1.3i Championship
News & Information
Well things are going fairly well now after a rough start in 1999, although I still have a
lot of learning to do!!

, but here is a quick overview of my Mighty Mini season so far...
Mallory Park
A bad start to my season here. A wet qualifying session saw me spinning off into the armco
at Gerrards. This caused sinificant damage to the OS front wing, front panel and rear quater.
I qualified 18th out of 29 cars, but managed to spin at the same point in the race. This time
however I found a gravel trap which halted me, but left me one lap behind all the other cars :-(
The damage was sucessfully sorted out with Mini Shop parts and Langley Autocraft labour.
Castle Combe
Things were dry this time, and a lot more sucessful. From a grid of 30 cars I managed to qualify 6th, at last - things appeared to be coming together. In the race I progressed to fourth by Quarry, however I appeared unscathed in 16th - oops! I managed to battle up to 11th collecting a dent from Dave Edmonson who had just been exploring the grassy bits.
Brands Hatch
Desipte forgetting the cars keys, and the brakes appearing to lack "oomph", I managed to qualify 8th from a grid of 34. However, my lack of experience showed with a finish of 14th.
Well, whilst I'm still learning... I may just have a cunnning plan...
