I have entered the

Lakeland Tour lots of years
1990
I passed my driving test, and started driving a
1979 Mini 850 - "Minnow"
1991
I joined the
Southern Mini Owners Club
1992
I joined the
A‘s of Herts
And I went downhill from there!
1993
My first IMM, Offenburg in Dave Hardinghams Cooper
"Minnow" was deemed too rusty, so I purchased a
1988 998cc Red Hot - "Roger"
The A‘s of Herts started running treasure hunts,
of which I have won all but the first one!
1996
Joined the
Mini Cooper Register
Completed the Mini Monte (no. 38)
Completed the
Italian Job
(no. 115)
1997
Completed the Mini Circuit of Ireland (no. 26)
Navigated for Alison Lock on the Tour of Anglesea rally (no. 53)
Purchased Silver 1992 injection Cooper - "Purdey"
Passed
ARDS course (the racing drivers test)
Gained parts sponsorship from Special Tuning
Navigated for Alison again on the Palladwr rally (no. 41)
1998
Joined

Gained parts sponsorship from the Mini Shop
Achived a score of 99% at Silverstone driving centre
Placed 2nd in class navigting for Alison on the Woodpecker
stage rally in her 1967 Cooper
Won best novice in the
Mighty Minis 1.3i Championship
(no. 88)
Co-drove Anna McColl on the
Italian Job
, finished joint 12th (no. 30)
Navigated on the Palladwr for Alison
1999 (so far!)
Worked with Keith Wheeler on the Sony Playstation Pitstop Challenge at this years Autosport show
Gained a new co-driver for the
Italian Job
(everyone seems to want their own car
on 'the job'!). The new mug - er I mean co-driver - is Steve Slater, motorsport PR boff,
TV commentator, and Mini fan
Drove Purdey, the Mighty Mini to a 4th in class on the Old Oak stage rally with Paul Clark

Finished first in class on the Somerset stages navigating for Alison again
And that‘s where I am at the moment. After a trip to MED, I'm now re-building the engine in
Roger Red Hot to prepare for the
Italian Job
