Pictures from the I.L.O.C.'s 1999 Big Party - Page 3
- The marquee laid out and seated prior to the food etc.

- Saturday night, the meal has settled and the band, Hooker appeared in a haze of dry ice and lights.
Their first of 3 sets is the Glam Rock years complete with costumes and face paint. The effect on the gathered masses was intantaneous, I've never seen a bunch of Laverdisti get on their feet so fast. I wondered had someone found the missing V6 and Massimo?

The above star spangled banner was the DJ - obviously not Italian colours.

- We all danced the night away!

- As always ILOC Rallies, especially the International are open to youngsters free of charge and that includes the food when it's included in your ticket price. Now that's one more excuse you can't use!
The youngsters on this night got in on the act, they were all up dancing.
In this pic Stephen here is wearing the Anniversary T-shirt supplied to all with the compliments of Moto Laverda. As a quick mention it was a shame that an emergency meeting at the factory prevented the attendance of Mr Lolli and his colleague. His apology and best wishes were recieved the following week.

- Unfortunately as the evening went on I didn't get any more photos of their later sets.
Hooker's 2nd set was the music of the 60's. I can't remember taking the below photo, but the atmosphere of the 60's hit by The Birds - 'L.A. Woman' could possibly have affected it ;-))

- The band finished off with music of the 80's and 90's as their final set.
The band played from 10pm till about 1am and the disco carried on till after 2am. I can't quite remember if the bar stopped serving at 3 or 4! Either way their was enough drinks to prevent some of us getting to bed ;*))
