Making Live Cable Location Easy
Protovale’s Pacetrace is an instrument that makes locating live power cables a simple task.  Designed as a reliable ‘no frills’ high performance instrument, the Pactrace can detect current carrying cables down to a depth of 5m.  Simple to use and extremely rugged the Pacetrace has only one control knob and a meter that is used for both estimating cable depth and monitoring battery condition.

Pacetrace saves time and helps avoid excessive excavation during cable jointing.  Its rugged construction and ease of operation is well suited to any outdoor environment.  A clear audio signal peaks when the Pacetrace moves over the live cable making it easy to pinpoint and determine its orientation.  The unit also includes a socket for headphones if required.
